These SMS Terms describe how messages are sent via the Occazion platform on behalf of individual event hosts.
1. Program Overview
Program name: Occazion SMS Invitations
Description: Receive event invitations, RSVP links, confirmations, reminders, and event updates from hosts using the Occazion platform.
2. Consent and Opt-In
Guests provide their mobile number directly to the event host for private events. Hosts enter those numbers into Occazion and must obtain explicit prior consent before submitting guest phone numbers.
Hosts are required to confirm consent before sending SMS invitations or reminders.
Example confirmation shown to hosts: "I confirm that I have obtained consent from my guests to receive event-related text messages about this event via Occazion."
Providing a mobile number and consenting to SMS messages is optional and is not a condition of purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by event and host activity, typically 1-5 messages per event.
4. Fees
Message and data rates may apply.
5. Opt-Out and Help
Reply STOP to opt out of future SMS notifications related to the event. You will receive a confirmation message.

6. Privacy and Use
Messages are limited to event-related content only. Occazion does not sell or share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
